Let’s Play Grants

KaBOOM! and Dr Pepper Snapple Group have awarded Providence Housing Development Corporation two Let’s Play Maintenance Grants. Each $750 grant will be used to maintain and improve play spaces at their affordable housing family communities; Holy Rosary Apartments on Lexington Avenue, Rochester and Union Meadows, North Chili. The play spaces provide quality, fun and safe play opportunities for the children at these housing communities.

The Let’s Play Maintenance Grants are made possible by Dr Pepper Snapple Group as part of its Let’s Play initiative to get kids and families active nationwide. Through this initiative, Dr Pepper Snapple Group and KaBOOM! will help build or fix up 2,000 playgrounds by the end of 2013, benefiting an estimated five million children across North America.

Providence Housing Development Corporation, a not-for-profit corporation, is an affiliate of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Rochester.
