Donations

Donations Welcome! Providence gratefully accepts contributions to support the development of affordable housing. As a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, donations to Providence are tax deductible. Contributions can fund project pre-development, staff training, Catholic Charities partnership initiatives and consultation.

You may earmark your contribution for the Predevelopment Fund in honor of our 15th anniversary.

Volunteer Information

Providence is happy to host short-term volunteer projects at our rental projects. Every year volunteers for the United Way Day of Caring help us with our spring clean-up. Incoming freshman at the University of Rochester participate in Wilson Day, a day of volunteering in the community. They have helped us stain the many fences at Plymouth Manor, Carlson Commons and Olean Heights. Several visiting church groups, some as far away as Chicago, have used their day of service to maintain our gardens and lawns. Past day-long projects have included a community build playground at Union Meadows that involved St. Vincent's Youth Group, East HS/SOTA Swim Team, many staff members and their families.
